About Lotfi Piano Trading
Lotfi Piano Trading was not started as a business idea — it started from a personal need.
More than a decade ago, our founder was simply trying to buy a piano to learn music. At that time, the price of a piano was beyond what he could afford. This led to months of searching for a more affordable instrument. Eventually he found a used piano in Sharjah and purchased it for personal use.
After a technician came for tuning, he recognized the value of the instrument and offered to buy it. The piano was sold for nearly double the purchase price. That single moment revealed something important: good pianos existed in the market, but access and pricing were the real problems.
From that experience, one piano became two… then ten… then containers.
Today, over 11 years later, Lotfi Piano has grown into an international family business founded by Mohammad Lotfi and Moslem Lotfi, specializing in sourcing Japanese pianos directly from households and delivering them to musicians around the world.
Direct From Japan to Your Home
To solve pricing and quality issues permanently, we established our own company in Tokyo, Japan.
Our team in Japan purchases carefully selected second-hand Japanese domestic market pianos directly from local homes. Each instrument is inspected, serviced, and prepared before export. From there, pianos are shipped to Dubai and distributed locally or exported internationally.
Because we control the sourcing process ourselves, we remove multiple middlemen. This allows us to provide instruments with better quality and more reasonable pricing than traditional dealers.
Today we operate across Japan, UAE, and international markets with regular shipments every month.
